The Villages Florida Area Real Estate: Spring Has Sprung - Just Ask my Allergies!

Spring Has Sprung - Just Ask my Allergies!

Spring Has Sprung - Just Ask my Allergies!

It looks like Old Man Winter has finally decided that Connecticut has had enough and gone on his way.  I can't say that I will miss him.  The weather has improved dramatically.  We get rain, but after all April Showers bring May Flowers, so that it just part of the program.  Of course having the opportunity to take some great photos of flowers means that my allergies will kick in, but with allergy medicine each morning I think I can handle it.

Ah SPRINGTIME!  One of the few reasons we put up with Winter!

Chris, Great photos!  I feel the same allergy pain!  That is the only thing about Spring that I dislike!

Chris, I have to agree, Allegra has been my best friend for a few weeks now.    I just love this time of year regardless, as the flowers blooming are just gorgeous!    You have taken some great shots.

Chris - The pictures are gorgeous.  I've also had trouble with allergies this year.  I think it is because we had so much rain and dampness.  Everything is blooming, and it is coupled with more breezes and winds than usual.  Stuff - the bad stuff, is all being kicked around, and finding its way to my eyes:-)

By the way, what are those white flowers in the second photograph?  The foliage reminds me of Bleeding Hearts, but the flowers are different.

Hi Deborah - I think next Easter will see different flowers on display!  : )

Hi Darcy and Tony - I guess every season has its wonders and its woes . . .

Hi Jerry - I waited to sneeze on the flowers until after I had the photos!  : )

Hi Rob - Yes, it was the longest winter.  A great weekend to you!

Hi Roy - Yes, the snow photos got a little monotonous--how much white stuff can you photograph after all?!  Thanks for the daffodils!

Hi Carol - this too shall pass (in about two months).  : )

Hi Chris - I hope you are forever blessed!

Hi Ted - Allergies are a small price to pay for flowers!

Chris -- Isn't it great to finally see some color?  Sorry about your allergies.  I'm allergic to snow so I'm feeling pretty good right about now!

Hi Joan - Alavert is what we use.  Now that I have washed my eyes from the day, I can see again.  Sometimes it is just too much for the Alavert!

Hi Myrl - We had to pay in some way to get rid of the snow!  The white flowers are Dutchman's Breeches--closely related to Bleeding Hearts.  Wait until you see the bleeding hearts that grow in my yard!  But that is a couple of weeks off . . .

Hi Barbara - Oh, is that what we call it?  I guess I am also allergic to snow!  It is wonderful to see flowers--tulips should be opening tomorrow!

Hi William - Thanks so much.  I am trying to get back into posting regularly--with our house on the market (living on a stage) and business picking up, sometimes I need to sleep!
