The Villages Florida Area Real Estate: Friday Fotos - A Work of Art done in Spray Paints

Friday Fotos - A Work of Art done in Spray Paints

While looking through my Scandinavia photos last weekend, I came across the works of art done by a spray paint artist on the streets of Gamla stan (the Old Town Stockholm, Sweden).  If you have never seen a spray paint artist at work, watch the transformation below done with bottle tops, pieces of paper, and sharp sticks!  If you ever get the chance to see a spray paint artist in your journeys, stop and watch for a few hours!  It is absolutely fascinating!

Hi Trevella - I thought this was pretty unique, but my niece mentioned that she had seen a spray paint artist while at Space Camp of all places.  : )

Hi James - I hope you find one when you are not in a rush.  It is just too fascinating . . .

Chris,

I have never seen a spray paint artist before... so this is amazing to me.  The results they achieve is incredible and hard to believe all they use is three tools!

Hi Linda - When you stand there watching them and see it actually happening, you can't even believe that it is possible!  It is simply amazing.

Very well done post. Thanks for sharing the experience. This is a good way to get young people interested in art.

Chris - I have never seen the process before-just a finished painting. That is very interesting. Thank you for putting that up.

What an amazing eye this artist must have. I really enjoyed the progressive pictures. You should give him some Google juice love with his name and web site on your post.

Hi Joshua - I wish I had the talent!

Hi Roy - My kids are both very artistic so we watched for hours.  When they proposed trying this technique to their Advanced Placement Art teacher, however, they discovered that Spray Paint was not one of the media she had in mind.  : )

Hi Debbie - I can assure you that if I were given a few cans of spay paint and those tools, the result would not look quite like this!  : )

Hi Toni - This art is more about the journey than the finished product (although the finished product is amazing)!

Hi Ellie - I would love to give him Google Juice, but I would have to head back to Sweden and wonder the streets of Gamla stan to find him.  Hmmmm, sounds like a fantastic idea!

Hi Lisa - I wish I had been able to do a video!  It would probably be a You Tube sensation!!

Chris,

I've seen this type of work done in Cozumel and the streets of Fort Worth. It's truly amazing to watch! I'm glad you posted this and I hope others have a chance to experience it as well.

The artist and the work you featured is extraordinary! They paint so fast too! And the end result is always perfect! I wish I could do that!

Hi Patricia - You should see if the artist in Fort Worth will let you video the process!  It is so much fun to watch.

Hi Chris, I have to hand it to the artist, the final piece it is quite striking and beautifully executed. At our Zoo, they have artists during the Summer that paint to music. Actullay they splash the paint on a  canvas to music with some fast strokes and it was quite entertaining. Of course they are painting animals but the are done beautifully. They call it Zoo Splashes and you can see some on You tube. I have a couple there as I recall.
