The Villages Florida Area Real Estate: Are you Longing For Summer?

Are you Longing For Summer?

Are you Longing For Summer?  I guess that is a silly question this winter--who isn't?  While looking through some pictures of White Flower Farm in Morris Connecticut, I found some great outside shots that others might like to enjoy as they dream of warmer weather (45 degrees for a high is warmer than it has been in weeks, but still not quite summer temperatures) . . .

I miss the color more than warmer temps. I'm ready for the burst of spring and for all of the lawns to green up.

Hi Debbie - You will be satisfied with Spring as long as the snow drifts have melted and you can see around them--not a give by March 21!!

Hi John - I can't wait to have to mow my lawn again after shoveling all winter!

These are beautiful, Chris. I'm getting the feeling that you have really had it with winter and want Spring to get here soon :)

Hi Toni - Very perceptive of you!  Spring cannot arrive soon enough.  Today we are having a heat wave--high of 49!

Chris, love the images! Thank you for the beautiful reminder of spring! It is amazing how those delicate Monarchs know when to migrate!

Chris, Yes I am longing for the change out of winter into Spring.  I bet 49 felt pretty good for you!

I think temps are expected to rise again on Thursday and Friday!  Think Spring!

Hi Emily - Glad you enjoyed them!  If you are anxious for Spring in New Mexico, we are 1,000 times more anxious!  : )

Hi Gloria - I didn't know that 49 could feel so warm!!  A lot of melting happened today--a lot still needed!  I am hoping we get all the warm temperatures that are forecast for the week.  Cold tomorrow, but 57 on Friday!?  I can't wait!

Great pictures. Many of us are hoping for an early spring.

Hi Joshua - We can all use a bit of color right about now, don't you think!?

Hi Roy - I hope that once Spring arrives that it sticks around for a while!  Magnificent addition to the flower page!  You have been using quite a number of Dolores's photos this week--she has quite a way with the camera as well!!

Wait a minute? Don’t you have to get to spring before you get to summer? Don’t be skipping spring!

Posted by Not a real person almost 8 years ago

Hi Russel - I need summer right now--spring usually skips itself in Connecticut.  : )

Hi Patricia - I am staying positive!  Positive that winter is not over yet.  : )  Another snowstorm is supposed to hit tonight.  I am just glad that my ice dams have finally all melted off my roof!
