The Villages Florida Area Real Estate: September 2010

Have you Been to YOUR Library Lately?

My wife and children have always been Library Addicts; and because of this, my oldest child is getting a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science right now.  Do you have any idea how many great things you can do at your local library - it is not just a place where you can take out books and DVDs!

Cheshire Public Library Librarian Appreciation

Of course there are many programs for the smallest tykes, but one of the things that I find most refreshing is how much attention is being given to the teenagers.  But they don't stop there!  There are plenty of activities for adults and families (including genealogy, movie matinees, and wildlife programs!).  If you don't see anything that appeals to you, take the Adult Programming Survey to let them know what you would like!

Check out all the things they have to offer - They are more than just books!

Want to buy some great used books?  Cheshire Library has a book sale that will be going on Thursday through Saturday October 21-23.  Check their website for hours each day!

For links to your favorite Library check out my list:  Libraries Throughout the State of Connecticut

Home Sellers: Play a Game of Scrabble with Your Potential Buyers

We MUST Have Under-Priced Our Home!!
You probably have had this happen at some point in your career, although perhaps not in this most current market downswing. Sellers prepare a property for sale listening intently to their Realtor regarding staging tips, de-cluttering,… more

The sign below has started popping up all over the place, so I went to see how to get my own. The company that makes them is in Wethersfield, Connecticut, so I imagine the word hasn't spread too far yet. I'm trying to change that Here is… more
